Il mwbgbumbo, o mwbwbumboo, è una mwcabevanda alcolica divenuta famosa tra i pirati e i mercanti intorno al 1740, dopo l'introduzione del mwcqgrog nella mwcgRoyal Navy. Esso è infatti un mwcwcocktail composto da mwdarum, acqua (i quali compongono il grog), mwdqzucchero e mwdgnoce moscatacite-ref-1[1]. Lo zucchero rendeva il liquore più dolce, mentre la noce moscata gli donava un aroma gradevole e piccante. Probabilmente il termine gergale italiano "bumba" per chiamare una bevanda fortemente alcolica deriva da bumbo/bumboo.
